Sabbath Theme: This
program is based on the Bible and quotes from Spirit of Prophecy that
talk about Sabbath observence. There are songs and activities
suggested to go with the different aspects of Sabbath keeping.
It starts with God making the Sabbath at creation and tells
how God gave us six days for us, and the seventh is a special holy day
to spend with Jesus.
It talks about things we do during the week
(shopping, yard work, cleaning etc.)
Then the final preparation on Friday with the last
of cooking and cleaning.
Preparing ourselves by having a bath so that we are clean,
ready to spend a special day with Jesus.
From there we move into what we do on Sabbath including
dressing in special clothes.
Attending Sabbath School and Church.
In the afternoon taking a walk to see the wonderful things
God has made or visiting a sick friend.
The program concludes with a song reminding us that when we
get to heaven we will be keeping the Sabbath there
too.
