Year 1 Quarter 3: The Israelites journery through the desert and into the Promised Land.

The craft this term is based on the Pathfinder Sanctuary honour and an activity book that was originally designed for the Primary Sabbath School in Lismore Church, with information from the book, "Path to the Throne of God" by Sarah Peck (Maranatha Media 2002).  

Each week the children learn about a piece of furniture or some other aspect of the Sanctuary or it's services.

Alternative Craft: Each week let them make a minature model of each piece of furniture as they learn about it.   Or make large models of the furniture in groups.

Each week I give each teacher a plastic folder which contains the "program list" for the day and all the supplies that the kids at that table will need.  Each table also has a small box containing scissors, glue and tape etc.

These resources are free to download and be used as a ministry for children.  My only condition is that if you are printing the lesson books to hand out, you must print them double sided and staple them in proper booklet form.
